1. Sponsor​ 

  • The Wellness Reimagined: Spa for a Year Contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by Elmwood Spa, located at 18 Elm Street, Toronto, Ontario, M5G 1G7 (the “Sponsor”).​

2. Contest Period​

  • The Contest begins on Monday, September 28, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. EDT and closes on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. EDT (the “Contest Period”).​ 
  • All entries must be received during the Contest Period. Entries received before or after the Contest Period will not be eligible.​

3. Eligibility​

  • The Contest is open to residents of Ontario, Canada, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.​ 
  • The following individuals are not eligible to enter:​ 
    • Employees, officers, directors, owners and representatives of the Sponsor or its affiliates;​
    • Employees, officers, directors, owners and representatives of any advertising, promotional, fulfillment or other agencies involved in the Contest; and​
    • Immediate family members or members of the household of any of the individuals listed above.​
  • For the purposes of these Rules, “immediate family” includes parents, children, siblings and spouses.​ 

 4. No Purchase Necessary​ 

  • No purchase is necessary to enter or win.​ 

5. How to Enter​ 

  • To enter the Contest, eligible participants must complete and submit the official Contest entry form during the Contest Period and answer the following question:​ 
  • ​“Tell us what reimagined wellness looks like for you if you won a $3,000 spa experience at Elmwood Spa”​ 
  • Each participant may submit one (1) entry of between 250 and 700 characters.​

6. Prizes​ 

  • A total of four (4) prizes will be awarded. One (1) Grand Prize:​ One (1) Spa for a Year prize valued at CAD $3,000.​ The Grand Prize is subject to the Sponsor’s applicable terms, conditions, booking requirements and availability.​ The $3,000 prize will be deposited in a house account at Elmwood Spa for the winner to access. The Grand Prize credit must be used within twelve (12) months from the date it is deposited into the winner’s Elmwood Spa house account.  The Grand Prize credit may be used toward eligible services, dining, products and applicable taxes at Elmwood Spa, but may not be used toward gratuities, cancellation fees or the purchase of gift cards.  The winner may also use their house account to book services for other guests. Any unused balance at the end of the 12-month period will be forfeited.  
  •  Three (3) Secondary Prizes:​ Three (3) Elmwood Spa Gift Cards valued at CAD $350 each, with one (1) Gift Card awarded to each winner.​ The odds of winning a Secondary Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received. Gift cards will be mailed to the secondary prize winners.

7. Winner Selection​ 

  • One (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected from all eligible Contest entries received during the Contest Period by a panel of judges. 
  • Eligible entries between 250 and 700 characters will be evaluated by a panel of judges based on the following criteria: alignment with the “Wellness Reimagined” theme (30%); thoughtfulness and personal meaning (25%); proposed use of Elmwood Spa experiences (20%); originality and creativity (15%); and clarity and completeness (10%).   
  • The eligible entry receiving the highest overall score will be selected as the potential Grand Prize winner. In the event of a tie, the entry receiving the highest score for alignment with the contest theme will be selected. If a tie remains, the entry receiving the highest score for thoughtfulness and personal meaning will be selected. 
  • ​Each eligible participant may submit one (1) eligible entry for consideration in the Grand Prize judging process through the official Contest entry.  Eligible entries must contain between 250 and 700 characters. Entries must be original and must not contain unlawful, offensive, defamatory or confidential third-party content. The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is incomplete, duplicated, technically corrupted or otherwise fails to comply with these Rules. 
  • If a tie remains after applying the first two tie-breaking criteria, the tied entry receiving the highest score for proposed use of Elmwood Spa experiences will be selected. If a tie still remains, the panel of judges will select the potential winner based on the overall quality of the tied entries. 
  • Three (3) potential Secondary Prize winners will be selected from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. 
  • Grand Prize judging and the Secondary Prize draw will take place on or about November 2, 2026. 

8. Prize Conditions​ 

  • The potential Grand Prize winner will not be eligible to receive a Secondary Prize.
  • Prizes are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.​​

9. General Conditions​

  • By entering the Contest, participants agree to be bound by these Official Contest Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest, subject to applicable law.​ 
  • The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these Rules, provides false or misleading information, tampers with the Contest entry process, or otherwise attempts to interfere with the proper conduct of the Contest.​ 
  • ​The Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the Contest where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, subject to applicable law.​ 
  • ​The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram.​​

10. Privacy​ 

  • Personal information collected in connection with the Contest will be collected, used and disclosed for the purposes of administering the Contest, contacting selected participants and fulfilling prizes.​ To view Elmwood Spa’s privacy policy please view here. 

11. Use of Entries and Publicity

  • By submitting an entry, each participant represents that the entry is original and that they have all rights necessary to submit it and grant the permissions described in these Rules. The participant retains ownership of their entry but grants the Sponsor a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce, publish, display, distribute, edit, adapt, excerpt and otherwise use the entry, in whole or in part, in any media or format, including the Sponsor’s website, email communications, social media channels, digital and print advertising, public relations and other marketing materials, without further notice, approval or compensation, except where prohibited by law. 
  • The Sponsor may identify the participant using their first name, city of residence and if provided, publicly available social media handle in connection with the entry. The participant waives, to the extent permitted by law, any moral rights in the entry in favour of the Sponsor and anyone authorized by the Sponsor to use the entry. The Sponsor is not obligated to publish or otherwise use any entry and may edit an entry for length, formatting or clarity, provided that its original meaning is not materially changed. 

12. Winner Notification​ 

  • The selected winners will be contacted using the contact information provided on their Contest entry form.​ Each selected entrant will have seventy-two (72) hours from the time of notification to respond and complete any required declaration and release form. If a selected entrant cannot be contacted, fails to respond within the required time, declines the prize or is determined to be ineligible, the entrant will be disqualified. The next highest-scoring eligible entry will be considered for the Grand Prize, and an alternate Secondary Prize entrant may be selected as applicable.
